The contents box is the "Table of content" or "TOC". It is generated by the wiki automatically when an article has more than 3 headers (the stuff with the = signs). The game pages have that disabled with the NOTOC and the __ signs around it, because it looks weird with the TOC added. You can remove it and preview a page to see how that looks. Also check out the Grand theft auto guides, like the pigeons for GTA IV. There you see the TOC on the right side, again look at the page how its done, you will see something with align=right that does the magic there.
