San Fierro

San Fierro is a fictitious city in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It is loosely based on San Francisco, California. The town is in the area that is unlocked after The Green Sabre mission, but missions don't actually start there until the mission Wear Flowers in Your Hair. The city has a cable car system, naval base, and airport. There are many well known landmarks in the city such as the Gant Bridge which is modeled after the Golden Gate Bridge. The town also shows signs of an earthquake, referencing the Loma Prieta earthquake of 1989.
