Unique Stunt Jumps
The stunt jumps are needed for 100%. Completing all 50 jumps, adds 2.5% to the game progress.
Stunt jumps are special jumps that have no markings at all on them. So you can drive by them and never realize there is one there. Not every jump (ramp) is a stunt jump either. Under stats and then vehicles you can find on the bottom of the page how many you have found and how many completed.
If you find one by chance, then the camera will go into a cinematic mode and everything will slow down. The right joystick controls the speed. If you press up, it will go faster, if you press down it will slow down. While in the air on a bike you can adjust your flight slightly, by using the left joystick to lean forward or back. The ideal landing is always on the back wheel with a slight upwards angle of the bike.
Landing on your head or side will fail the jump. Also you have to land in a specific zone for the jump to count, if you do not land where you should be, the jump will be counted as failed. You can repeat it as often as you like (until you get it).
Most jumps are easily done with most fast cars. Some require a bike or are just easier on a bike (the NRG 900 is the bike of choice here). For two jumps you need a boat.
Throughout Liberty City, you can find a lot of the needed cars. Here a list of where you can find fast cars and bikes easy.
- NRG 900
- Alderney at the corner of Lemhi St and Sacramento Ave. In the northeast corner here is a store. You can walk in at the corner and it is filled with NRG 900's. Grab one, then drive through the glass and escape. As soon as you get on, you will get a wanted rating. Across the street to the east is a multistory car park.
- Francis International Airport at the northernmost end of the runway on the map, between a light tower at the end of the runway and the red and white fence. (there is also body armor on the other side of the light tower)
- Turismo
- Algonquin, corner of Bismarck Ave and Pyrite St. Or simply go south from the Safe house Roman gets here and take the first street west. It will be at the next corner to your left. Again a store, just walk in, grab a car and drive it out. A simple way to get rid of the heat is to park it at the safe house, then save the game inside.
- Broker, Shinnecock Ave, Beachgate. Parked in the driveway of the last house on the right when you come south. This is also the Faustin's residence. Sometimes there are two cars parked, the Turismo is always further from the road, closer to the garage.
