Jacob Drug Delivery
These side missions are required to get 100% in GTA4. You get this option after the Mission "Shadow" of the main story.
Call up Jacob and select "Job". He will call you to the cafe to pick up a car and deliver the goods. Simply go to the green blip and pick up the car, then the mission starts. The game will select one of the missions below randomly. You have to successfully complete all 10 and then you will get 2% more completion on the game.
After a mission Jacob might not give you another mission instantly. Drive away from the point you were and don't be too close to his cafe either. Best is to try in between the point you just left and the cafe. Usually he will give you a mission then. If that still won’t work, go and save and call him from the safe house, that does the trick every time.
You have three types of missions. the first is a timer, you have to get to your goal quickly. The second is ambush, you want to deliver but the guys don’t want to pay so they start shooting at you when you get there. And last a police bust, where cops bust the dealers and you need to get away with a two star rating.
Each time you deliver a package, Jacob gives it to you in a car that's a total pile. On the tenth and last mission, the vehicle is a black and green Huntley Sport. If you don't destroy it during the delivery, it's yours. Of course, all the other junkheaps Jacob gives you are yours too, but who wants one? Anyway, the Huntley Sport is supposed to be a gift, but it's no different from any other Huntley Sport you see driving around. It also doesn't respawn at Jacob's cafe, so it's really only available that one time.
Side note: Pay 'n' Spraying a junkheap car doesn't turn it into a nice car. It's still junk.
TIP FOR TIMED MISSIONS: The drugs are inside the junkheap, but once you get in and retrieve them, you can get into any other car to deliver. Before every mission (unless you know it's not a timed one), park a fast, well-handling car directly in front of the junkheap facing the street. Get into the junkheap, and start hitting the "y" button till Niko gets out. Be patient and let him close the door (saves time, otherwise you have to jump the car door) and sprint to your faster car. Seemingly, the few extra seconds you waste getting into the better car is EASILY accounted for in time saved with your awesome, new wheels.
Cerveza Heights Carstack
Reward: $250
An ambush. Since we are not on a timer, you can go and refill weapons and armor in the weapons shop if you like. Make sure you got something equipped like an SMG or Assault rifle and step into the arrow in front of the dumpster. Now you get ambushed. There are two guys right above and in front of you, you should be able to kill them fast. If one of them hides back, just ignore him for the moment. Turn around. On the right above the entrance is one guy on the roof, kill him and then the two guys that come into the alley in a car. Make sure you take out all five of them and you are done here.
Meadow Hills
Reward: $250
East of the park is this ambush. Go to the blip through the alley in the south. Park the car so it touches the south side of building here. Now take a weapon in your hand (Assault rifle or carbine works best) then step into the arrow in front of the trash cans. Niko plants the drugs and five guys show up. There are two on each side of you, and one behind you. The ones to the east are behind your car, so they are not too much trouble yet. aim for the guys to your left first (less turning) and shoot at them a few times. Just hit them, maybe head shot them, and once they are hit, turn to the south to take down that guy there. Now make sure the guys on the west are dead then take down the two on the other side of your car.
Meadow Park
Reward: $250
Another ambush, seems to be a bad neighbourhood here. Stand in the arrow at the blip. Now you get some friendly company from both sides, two on each side. Take down the ones to your left first, one of them has a shotgun. Kill them, and only when they are dead pay attention to the guy to your right.
Willis
Reward: $250
This is a bust. Park close to the arrow at the blip and the deal goes on. Police come in and want to bust you. Go back to the car and drive off, losing the two star rating.
Meadow Park Festival Towers
Reward: $250
On this one cops will try to bust it again. Park as close to the guys as you can then step into the arrow on foot. Quickly get into your car, drive south and lose the cops in the streets.
East Island City Tunnel
Reward: $250
You got to make it in time to the tunnel in east island city. You get 45 in game minutes for that, which is not much. Turn left out of the alley, the next left and by then the GPS has kicked in again. Now just follow it. The tunnel is for pedestrians, so you have to exit the car and run into it. Step into the arrow to complete the mission. In here is also a pigeon.
Schottler
Reward: $250
Timer mission. The drop is under the freeway in Schottler. You have to get out of the car to get to the drop. You have 30 game minutes to get there. In that pedestrian tunnel is also a pigeon hiding among the rafters above you. You have to drive pretty much perfectly the route the GPS shows you, but you can make it. Drive north of the on ramp between the ramp and the wall to the left in to save a few extra seconds. An alternate route is to follow the GPS south, and taking the right it says, but continuing straight, and turning right when you get to the roundabout. That way you don't have to make more extra turns than needed.
Beechwood City
Reward: $250
A timer mission, with 25 game minutes to spare. You need to simply pull out with the car, then drive northeast on the Broker-Dukes Expressway. Then follow the GPS to the abandoned auto repair shop here and step inside to complete the mission. Be careful when parking as the dealer is right past the yellow blip...kill him and the mission fails. Handy, in there is also a health pickup that will always be there, in case you need one at any later point.
Outlook Park
Reward: $250
Another Ambush. The drop is in a small tunnel inside the park. Draw your weapon of choice and step into the arrow in front of the trash can. Four guys appear on each side of the tunnel one. Take down the one to your left first, then the one left of that and make a circle that way. The first one has a shotgun so it's best to kill him as fast as possible.
Steinway
Reward: $250
The game gives you 50 minutes to reach your target. turn to the street that goes perfectly north. From here follow the GPS. It will lead you into a dead end street to the west of the block. Drive under the archway to your right and after that stop the car, just ahead under the next arch is the guy.
