Gaining 78-80% or more on the Like meter will unlock certain services relative to each friend. Getting 90% Like on all 5 people will give you the "Liberty City (5)" Achievement. If you killed Dwayne, you will only need to do the other 4 to get the achievement.
Hint: If you get a high percentage with a friend and no longer want to hang out with them, accept their invitation, and then immediately cancel plans by going into the friends phone book and selecting "Cancel Plans". The "like" percentage should not go down with this method, as opposed to just refusing.
Any special ability gained can be used only one time per game day.
Roman - Gained: Through story.
- Special service: You will be able to call a taxi to pick you up from anywhere in the city.
- Note: Will be temporarily unavailable after completing the "Roman's Sorrow" mission, until he calls you and lets you know he is back in business. During this time, attempting to call the Car Service will result in no answer or answering machine
Brucie - Gained: Finish all of Brucie's mission.
- Special service: Brucie will offer helicopter rides to get around the city quickly
- For hanging out purposes, he's asleep until 8:00.
- Says he wants to eat at somewhere more expensive than Cluck'n Bell
- Loves the Superstar Cafe
- Does not enjoy the Comedy Club
Little Jacob - Gained: Finish all of Little Jacob's missions.
- Special service: He will sell you guns and armor at a discounted price at location close to you. To get the % up it helps to do jobs for Jacob. Finishing this on Xbox 360 will unlock the 'Retail Therapy' achievement.
- Says that Cluck'n Bell is his favorite place to eat.
- Does not like the Comedy Club.
- For hanging out purposes, he's asleep until 14:00.
- If you have a wanted level when you pull up to him, he will leave without selling you anything. This will also count as your "Guns" call for the day.
Dwayne - Gained: Finish all of Dwayne's and Playboy X's missions and chose to kill Playboy X.
- Special service: Call Dwayne for a car full of gang members that will follow you.
- For hanging out purposes, he's asleep until 12:00.
- Positive response to Hove Beach bar and diner, and the 60* Diner in East Algonquin
- Doesn't like flashy things; prefers to keep it basic.
Packie - Gained: Finish all of Packie's missions.
- Special service: Call Packie and he will make you a car bomb. Finishing this on Xbox will unlock the 'Dial B For Bomb' achievement.
- For hanging out purposes, he's asleep until 16:00.
