Driving School

Different medals will spawn different vehicles in front of the Driving School.

  • Bronze spawns the Super GT
  • Silver spawns the Bullet
  • Gold spawns the Hotknife

This is the only way to get the Hotknife in the game!

The 360

You are given 10 seconds to do a 360 with an Infernus. Press the buttons for both the brake and the gas at the same time, and turn the car to one direction or the other. When the back tires get to their original position, let off the gas and brake.

The 180

You are given 10 seconds to drive a Blista Compact to the other end of the lot, whip a 180, and return. Be careful not to hit any cones, because each cone will give you 10% damage. Also, make sure you are parked perfectly at the end for gold.

Whip And Terminate

You are given 5 seconds to do the same thing as above with a Banshee. Again, watch out for the cones, and park as straight as possible.

Pop And Control

For this lesson, you are given a police car. You are given a running start for a spike strip, and then you have to keep the car within the cones. Take no damage and park perfectly under 5 seconds for gold.

Burn And Lap

You have to drive a Banshee in an oval for 5 laps in under 35 seconds. Consistency is key here. Use the brakes, not the emergency brake, to control the car better. Hit the same marks every time with the brakes and getting back on the gas, and be careful of hitting the cones as you cannot take any damage here if you want the gold.

Cone Coil

You need to weave your way to the other end of the lot and back and park your Banshee perfectly in under 10 seconds to get gold for this lesson. As always, watch out for cones, and use the brakes.

The 90

You are given a Banshee and 5 seconds to get a running start and powerslide between two cars. Park the car perfectly between the other two, without damage, to win the gold. This lesson, while not a cakewalk, is made easier by the skidmarks from your last run. Using the skidmarks, you can alter the next run to try to park better.

Wheelie Weave

You are given a Banshee, and will need to drive up the ramp with two wheels to start this mission. Drive the car on two wheels to the red marker, and park perfectly to get the gold. I found that it is easier for me to swerve to the right as soon as I am off the ramp to keep the car heading in the right direction.

Spin And Go

You are given 5 seconds to complete this lesson. You start off by backing a taxi up the course. At the appropriate time, cut the wheel and hit the brake to slide the car around. Pull the car into the parking space. Park perfectly, and without damaging the vehicle for gold.

P.I.T. Maneuver

You are given a police car, and need to spin out the other car where it ends up at a 90 degree angle to yours with you touching the door with your bumper. Finish before the car gets to the other side of the box drawn on the ground without taking any damage for gold.
